Tribe Switch

Tribe Switch is a twist that occurs when any member of a tribe is either absorbed or switched to the other tribe.

History[]

Survivor: Kiribati[]

A Tribe Switch originally appeared in Survivor: Kiribati. From each tribe, whoever had won Individual Immunity in the last challenge got the privilege to decide who was switching tribes. In this case, Eddie786™ and Tank42992 got to choose the new Motu and the new Tenei.

Survivor: Japan[]

A tribe switch occurred in Survivor: All-Stars on Day 6 when the São Paulo tribe was down to three members. It was dissolved at the same time as the tribe switch.
